Cub Scout Pack 30 Webpage

The pack Pinewood Derby was held on Saturday January 17 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church on our four lane aluminum track.

 

The event began with a free Hot Dog/Chili lunch @ 1:00pm followed by weigh-ins and inspections of all race cars.

 

Cubmaster Keith Smith and Assistant Cubmaster Derek Egbert explained the rules to the racers followed by the National Anthem.

 

Fifteen Cubs racing were: Zachary Belt - Joseph Gambill - Carson George - Jack Jarvis - Oliver Logue - Joseph Martin - Silas McVey - Lucas Mowery - Cass Nay - AJ Richards - William Robinson - Asa Shrader - Gus Whitlatch - Greyson Williams - Wyatt Yoak.

 

Receiving medals were: 1st place Lion Scout Asa Shrader - 2nd place Tiger Scout Oliver Logue - 3rd place Bear Scout Cass Nay.

 

All Cub racers received a participation ribbon.

 

For the first time, we invited Girl Scouts from Troop 1182 in Elizabeth. Girl Scouts racing were: Zoey Belt - Josie Hall - Leia Martin.

 

Girl Scouts results were: 1st place Zoey Belt - 2nd place Leia Martin - 3rd place Josie Hall.

 

All Girl Scout racers received a participation ribbon.

 

The top three finishers of the Cubs race and the Girl Scout race squared off and raced each other.  

 

Six Sibling racing were: Zoey Belt - Elliott Logue - Luke Hardbarger - Reagan McVey - Leia Martin - Bella Richards.

 

Siblings race results were: 1st place Eliott Logue - 2nd place Zoey Belt - 3rd place Leia Martin.

 

All Sibling racers received a participation ribbon.

 

The final race was for adults with four participating: Derek Egbert - Matt Logue - Robert Smith - Taylor Valentine.

 

Adult race results were: 1st place Derek Egbert - 2nd place Matt Logue - 3rd place Robert Smith.
