The pack participated in the annual University of Scouting sponsored by the Allohak Council and West Virginia University at Parkersburg on Saturday November 5, 2016.

 

Over 250 Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouts, and leaders participated in this educational and advancement opportunity.

 

Webelos adventures activities included; First Responder, God & Country Awards, Stronger Faster Higher, Webelos Walkabout, Cast Iron Chef, Art Explosion, Earth Rocks, Into the Woods, Building a Better World, Scouting Adventure, and Camper.

 

Merit badge classes were available for Boy Scouts.

 

Several adult leader trainings were available for Cub Scout leaders; Commisioner Basics, The Fundamentals of Training, Den Leader/Webelos Leader Position-Specific Training, Disability Awareness in Scouting, Retention, Adult Leader Recognition-Knots and Awards, Webelos to Boy Scout Transition, Managing Boys Behavior, Pack Recruiting, Cubmaster and Assistant Cubmaster Position-Specific Training, and Pack Committee Challenge-Pack Commitee Position-Specific Training.

 

Webelos 1 Ninja Patrol from the pack attending were: Travis D - Ethan F - Corbin L - Seth P and leaders Summer Lucky and Kalena Pack. 

 

Webelos 2 Atomic Waffle Patrol from the pack attending were: Caleb A - Hayden C - Jack F - Ephraim L - Anthony R and leader Melanie Axley. Parents attending were: Heather Curfman and Tom Dille.

 

Leaders attending training were: Curtis Dotson, Summer Lucky, and Cubmaster Keith Smith.

 

Both Webelos groups completed Art Explosion and Earth Rocks. In addition, Webelos 1 completed Webelos Walkabout and Webelos 2 completed Scouting Adventure.
