Cub Scout Pack 30

The pack Pinewood Derby was held on Saturday January 27 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church on our four lane aluminum track.

 

The event began with a free Hot Dog/Chili lunch @ 1:00pm followed by weigh-ins and inspections of Cubs, Siblings, and Adult race cars.

 

Cubmasters Keith Smith and Derek Egbert explained the rules to the racers followed by the playing of the National Anthem.

 

16 Cubs racing were: Zachary Belt - Barrett Davis - Jaxsen Exline - Braxton George - Carson George - Luke Hardbarger - Jack Jarvis - Brantley Little - Silas McVey - Greyson Primm - AJ Richards - William Robinson - Wyatt Stegall - Murphy Towner - Elijah Underwood - Spencer West.

 

Receiving medals were: 1st place Webelos Scout Jaxsen Exline - 2nd place Lion Scout Zachary Belt - 3rd place Tiger Scout Elijah Underwood.

 

All Cubs received a participation ribbon.

 

9 Siblings racing were: Zoey Belt - Alice Davis - Tyler Hardbarger - Gracelynn Means - Reagan McVey - Sophia Primm - Bella Richards - Kaylin Smith - Lily Towner.

 

Siblings race results were: 1st place Bella Richards - 2nd place Sophia Primm - 3rd place Zoey Belt.

 

Each sibling received a participation ribbon.

 

6 adult racing were: Jason Davis - Kayla Davis - Derek Egbert - Calvin Exline - Vonda Shears - Taylor Valentine.

 

Adult racing results were: 1st place Vonda Shears - 2nd place Calvin Exline - 3rd place Kayla Davis.

 

Adults were also presented with a participation ribbon.

 

Leaders attending were: Derek Egbert - Haylee Exline - Crystal Cox-Hardbarger - Matt Jarvis - Rachael Jarvis - Chris Long - Kelsie Means - Vonda Shears - Keith Smith.
