Cub Scout Pack 30

 

The pack Pinewood Derby was held on Saturday January 21 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church on our four lane aluminum track.

 

The event began with a free Hot Dog/Chili lunch at 1:00pm followed by weigh-ins and inspections of Cubs, Siblings, Adult race cars.

 

Our Lions Scouts presented the colors followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and playing of the National Anthem.

 

Cubmasters Keith Smith and Derek Egbert explained the rules to the racers.

 

16 Cubs racing were: Jayden Boyd - Andrew Clegg - Barrett Davis - Logan Davis - Jaxsen Exline - Braxton George - Carson George - Luke Hardbarger - Carson Hartford - Gage Hartford - Jack Jarvis - Levi Lucky - Silas McVey - Castiel Day - James Pitts - Murphy Towner.

 

Receiving medals were: 1st place Jaxsen Exline - 2nd place James Pitts - 3rd place Logan Davis.

 

All Cubs received a participation ribbon.

 

8 Siblings racing were: Rosie Clegg - Tyler Hardbarger - Adryon Hartford - Corbin Lucky - Nevaeh Lucky - Reagan McVey - Rayann Nay - Lily Towner.

 

Siblings race results were: 1st place Rosie Clegg - 2nd place Lily Towner - 3rd place Rayann Nay.

 

Each sibling also received a participation ribbon.

 

8 adults racing were: Jason Davis - Kayla Davis - Derek Egbert - Calvin Exline - Rachael Jarvis - Chris Long - Dwayne Lucky - Summer Lucky.

 

Parent Calvin Exline raced the same car he made in Cub Scouts over 30 years ago.

 

Adult race results were: 1st place Chris Long - 2nd place Kayla Davis - 3rd place Rachael Jarvis.

 

Adults were also presented with a participation ribbon.
