Cub Scout Pack 30

 

The pack Pinewood Derby was held on Saturday January 18 at the Wirt County Primary Center Cafeteria.

 

The afternoon began with a free Hot Dog/Chili Lunch at 1:00pm followed by weigh-ins and inspection of Cubs, Siblings, Adult race cars.

 

Cubmaster Keith shared the Pinewood Derby history and explained the rules for the racers.

 

The races began with the playing of the National Anthem.

 

17 Cubs racing were: Tucker Corbitt - Izac Dotson - Braidin Ferrell - Eli Ferrell - Josiah Ferrell-McAbee - Bryson Galloway-Copen - Luke Hardbarger - Chase Hoover - Grayson Keener - Bailey Lott - Levi Lucky - Louis Martin IV - Nolan McCallister - James Pitts - Mason Scadden - Hunter Snyder - Holden VanCamp.

 

Receiving metals were: 1st place Braidin Ferrell - 2nd place Eli Ferrell - 3rd place Chase Hoover.

 

All Cubs received a participation ribbon.

 

6 Siblings racing were: Matthew Balis - Jack Jarvis - Coleson Keener - Corbin Lucky - Nevaeh Lucky - Delila VanCamp.

 

Finishing 1st place Matthew Balis - 2nd place Corbin Lucky - 3rd place Delila VanCamp

 

All Siblings received a participation ribbon.

 

12 adults from the pack racing were: Jeff Burton - Chase Corbitt - Derek Egbert - Carl Ferrell - Crystal Hardbarger - Matt Jarvis - Summer Lucky - Matt Lynch - Richelle Lynch - Amy McAbee - Josh McAbee - Chris VanCamp.

 

Finishing 1st place Richelle Lynch - 2nd place Carl Ferrell - 3rd place Chris VanCamp.
