Cub Scout Pack 30

 

The pack met at Camp Kootaga on May 10-11 at the Chippewa campsite.

 

Optional overnight camping on Friday.

 

After enjoying Saturday morning breakfast prepared by Assistant Cubmaster Derek Egbert activities began at 9:00am, which included Scout Skills by Assistant Cubmaster Derek Egbert and Webelos parent Calvin Exline. Games of tug of war, sack race, eating donuts on a string by Bear den leader Rachael Jarvis. Each cub made a t-dye t-shirt with the help of Lion parent Hannah Holley. A hike to the wind caves was postponed due to the weather, but the ashes of the US flag retired at Pack Graduation June 2023 was buried on the camp grounds. 

 

Lunch was an old-fashioned weiner roast over the campfire with fixins.

 

Dinner included Tacos in a Bag.
