Cub Scout Pack 30

 

The Pack held their annual graduation on Saturday June 1 at Camp Barbe.

 

A cookout was enjoyed by our Cub Scouts, their families and guests.

 

A flag ceremony was performed by Webelos 1 and Webelos 2.

 

Everyone enjoyed a video our annual Sights and Sounds of Pack 30 2023-2024.

Leary Vanhorn pastor of the Elizabeth Baptist Church presented the God and Family religious award to Luke Hardbarger.

 

Each graduation ceremony was unique and included the Cub Scout receiving his new handbook, neckerchief, and slide.

A flag retirement ceremony was performed by Cubmaster Keith, Webelos 1, and Webelos 2. The ashes of the flags will be buried at a future pack outing.

 

Webelos 2 Scout Luke Hardbarger was presented with the highest award a Cub Scout can earn the "Arrow of Light" with Luke shooting his arrow marked with ranks achieved in Cub Scouting to the "Arrow of Light" target. Luke presented the "Arrow of Light"

family pins to his parents.

 

After the flaming arrow reached it's target and before crossing the bridge with his family, Cubmaster Keith reviewed Luke's accomplishments in Cub Scouting and presented him with a graduation certificate. Den leader Crystal-Cox Hardbarger divested him of his Webelos neckerchief and Luke and his family crossed the bridge and welcomed to Troop 30 by Eagle Scout Anthony Richards.
