Cub Scout Pack 30

 

The pack held their monthly pack meeting on November 21 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church Activity Building.

 

This month's theme was "Our Feathered Friends."

 

Our Tiger Scouts served as greeters.

 

Pre-Opening activities were making of bird feeders led by Bear den leader Melanie Axley and parent Brooke Keener.

 

Families were given the opportunity to purchase a feather(s) for our turkey display made by Melanie Axley. Money raised will be used for the Wirt County Secret Santa. A total of $62 was collected.

 

Flag ceremony was performed by Webelos 1 Thunder Chicken Patrol.

 

Everyone participated in the Audience Participation "Why the Chicken Crossed the Road."

 

Skits were performed by Tiger and Webelos 2, Wolf, Webelos 1 Scouts. Bear den also performed a skit and led everyone in the "Chicken Dance."

Mason Scadden was this month's recipient of the "Good Scout" award.

 

Wolf Scout Braidin Ferrell demonstrated his flying of planes invention in earning the Motor Away adventure.

 

Cubs and Siblings participated in the "Flying Feather Relay" game.

 

The evening concluded with a Cubmaster Minute "Backyard Bird Feeder."
