Cub Scout Pack 30 WebpageReturn to Activities
The pack held their monthly pack meeting on December 18 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church.
This month's theme was "Winter Wonderland."
The gathering included the making of bird feeders under the direction of Bear Leader Melanie Axley.
The pack Food Drive resulted in 131 items collected for the Hope Shop of Wirt County.
The Wolf den displayed artwork in completing the Citzenship belt loop. Webelos 1 Eagle Redneck Patrol displayed their catapults.
Webelos 2 Patriot Patrol performed the Opening/Flag Ceremony.
Audience Participation "The House Where Santa Claus Lives."
Cheers were part of the FUN.
Skits were performed by the Tiger Cubs, Wolf, Webelos 2 Cyclone Patrol, Webelos 2 Patriot Patrol.
Bear den entertained the pack with a song.
Webelos 1 Eagle Redneck Patrol demonstrated their catapults made in earning the Engineer activity badge.
The advancement ceremony consisted of each Cub receiving his advancements in a gift box. The Cubmaster reminded everyone that the advancements were not simply a gift, but are a result of the boys having worked hard on completing their achievements with their family and den leaders.

Cub Scout families were given their Pinewood Derby car kits with rules.
Cubs/Siblings game "Snowball Fight."
Adult game "Snow Clothes Relay."
The closing was a story 'Starry Night" from the founder of Scouting Lord Robert-Baden Powell and the playing of Silent Night.
The evening concluded with refreshments.
