This was the ninth year for the pack making apple butter.
The two day event began with the preparation of apples on Saturday March 19 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Day 2 was the actual cooking of the apple butter at Sportsman's Park in Elizabeth on Sunday March 20.
Breakfast of eggs, sausage gravy with biscuits compliments of the Pitts family and lunch of hot dogs, fixins, chips, cookies and drinks were provided by Cubmaster Keith.
The results of five kettles were 222 pints of delicious apple butter.
Cubs participating were: Barrett Davis - Logan Davis - Luke Hardbarger - Nolan McCallister - James Pitts - Murphy Towner.
Leaders participating were: Melanie Axley - Craig Blankenship - Derek Egbert - Crystal Cox-Hardbarger - Chris Long - Rob Pitts - Keith Smith.
Several siblings and adult family members also participated.
