This was the sixth year for the pack making apple butter.

 

The two day event began with preparation of apples on Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church.

 

Day 2 was the actual cooking of the apple butter at Sportsman's Park in Elizabeth on Sunday March 18.

 

Lunch was provided which included hot dogs, fixins, chips, cookies, and drinks.

 

The results of the five kettles were 267 pints of delicious apple butter.

 

Cubs participating in the event were: Matthew B - Tucker C - Travis D - Quincy F - Braidin F - Eli F - Maddox G - Hunter G - Wyatt G - Carmyne H - Tyler H - Chase H - Byron L - Corbin L - James P - Holden V - Braden W.

 

Leaders participating were: Melanie Axley - Michael Balis - Amanda Balis - Leanna Corbitt - Derek Egbert - Jennifer Hoover - Chris Long - Summer Lucky - Rob Pitts - Keith Smith - Crystal White Hardbarger.

 

Several siblings also participated along with adult family members.
